I’m Hamish - a 25-year-old motion designer based in London, currently working at TMW Unlimited, where I specialise in bringing creative ideas to life through animation/ motion design.
Originally trained in graphic design, I transitioned into animation/ motion design with a focus on 2D motion content, brand animation, and more recently, 3D work in Cinema 4D. I’ve worked across fast-paced agency environments, producing animations that have reached hundreds of thousands of people such as through social campaigns. Over time, I’ve developed a creative style that blends design thinking with a fascination for systems, technology, and how ideas evolve across mediums.
Lately, I’ve become deeply involved in exploring the intersection of AI and creativity. I’ve led internal initiatives to help my team get to grips with tools like Adobe Firefly, Runway, and ChatGPT - building a Figma-based AI knowledge hub and giving department-wide talks to help demystify emerging tech. Off the back of that, I launched a hands-on AI workshop series tailored for art and design students, aimed at helping them build future-ready, AI-literate portfolios.
Outside of work, I’m endlessly curious - often deep-diving into topics like psychology, current affairs, and creative technology. I also make time for the occasional sketchbook session or a quiet country pub with friends.
